Fuji Red Tangerine Discus, Proven Pair

Covered with a red shade deeper than that of a Fuji apple, this aptly named discus makes a stunning addition to any aquarium. The color appears almost painted on. Slight color imperfections are an expected characteristic that adds to the charm of this particular strain. The random areas where the artist seems to have lightened his hand offer an even better view of all the bling this discus carries around! In some cases, there is a black band or “halo” where the vibrant color stops abruptly just at the gill. The stark lack of color beyond this point, gives the face of the Fuji Red an especially gentle and inquisitive appearance.
