Product DescriptionOur La Pieta pocket rosary is handmade, with love. Tumbled Lapis Lazuli stones are beaded into a single decade rosary, completed with an hematite Our Father bead. The fob is a miniature image of Michelangelo’s Madonna della Pietà and the cross features the Madonna and Child. Both are hand cast in the WhyteWing studio. Lapis Lazuli is seen as the stone of communication and channeling, opening the way for understanding to flow. Lapis is the semiprecious birthstone for the month of September, and the traditional gift for the 9th wedding anniversary.This La Pieta pocket rosary measures just over 11 inches, including the 2 inch cross and 1.25 inch fob. The cross and fob are bronze. The wrapped wire is sterling silver plated over white copper.Bronze will patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch. This process is natural.
