Product DescriptionOur Rain of Roses Amethyst Rosary is hand crafted with sterling silver. The centerpiece is our exclusive Edwardian Mary and the cross is our Rain of Roses design, in honor of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus. Both are hand cast in solid sterling silver. Amethyst is the stone of poets and dreamers, and the birthstone for the month of February. Amethyst is said to clear the way for psychic inspiration and guidance, and to set the creative juices flowing.This amethyst rosary measures approximately 36 inches around the loop, with an additional 7 inches for the pendant including the 1.25 inch fob and 2 inch cross. The cross and fob are marked .925 sterling. The wrapped wire and findings are also sterling silver.Silver will patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch. This process is natural. I have added a high quality protective coating to my silver which will delay patina changes for a time.
