This single decade rosary is hematite stone in all the colors of the rainbow, with a single crystal Our Father bead just above the crucifix. The cross and Romantic Mary fob are solid white (silver) copper, cast right here at WhyteWing. Hematite stone is gunmetal gray in it’s natural state. The high iron content allows it to be plated successfully with other metals. In this case, the stone is plated with titanium, then heated, creating this brilliant rainbow on the surface. The wrapped wire work is sterling silver plated over copper, and as I mentioned, the cross and fob are solid white copper. Copper will patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch.
