With that said, Band’ums, as the name suggests were created for exactly that – to be used in conjunction with a bait band, an approach many anglers still prefer to this day. However, with demand for a ‘softer wafter’ we were keen to introduce a Method hookbait suited to this style of presentation into our ranks. Spike’um Wafters have been developed with extensive testing to ensure an effective Wafter that maintains their effectiveness as a wafter hookbait while being soft enough to spike or bayonet without being too soft that they are easily dislodged on the cast or by nuisance small fish.
