Baetis Hot Spot Perdigon

Catégorie :
Baetis Hot Spot Perdigon This is a new pattern for the White River, and I think it’s going to be a really good add-on. It’s a slim, fast-sinking perdigon that gets down quick, but it still has that classic pheasant tail vibe in the body. The little yellow front hot spot is the trigger—it gives trout a target and helps them commit when the bite is subtle. Even though it’s labeled “Baetis,” don’t overlook it as a sulphur-style nymph either. That darker body with the yellow hot spot can absolutely imitate a sulphur nymph in the right water, especially when fish are feeding just under the surface or staging a little deeper before they start rising. How to fish itDead drift it tight to the bottom euro-style and keep contact, or run it under an indicator as your point fly with a smaller midge/scud dropper. This is a great “start here” nymph when you want a fast-sinker that still looks natural but has a built-in trigger.
